A LARP guild.
New York.
Forty of us. Fighters, bards, gamblers, drunks. None of us are saints.
Every August we march to Bicolline. The rest of the year we train, drink, plan, perform, and keep the bar high.

We cut our hands at the Bal Pourpre. The vow that holds is the one written in something you cannot withdraw.
